I have a simple answer to your question. Destruction of light is possible. What happens after you switch off your bedroom light. Where is the light. It is destroyed isn't it. But did it vanish dissapear of travel away at 186000 miles per second. Then where did it go to. Will someone 186000 miles away see yoour light buld after one second. It is not possible because the light lost its power. A black hole does not destroy light. It absorbs it. One fine day all that bottled up enegy will be released and a new galaxy will be formed.
