This is a very good question. I do believe they have internal visions; visions or beliefs of how things are. Whether they have never seen before or recently became blind, I believe that a blind person's mind is far beyond that of someone with sight. Not sure if it would be perceived as dreaming or not, but I am sure that a blind person, in a sense, sees what their mind illustrates as reality. For some of us, dreaming is all there is. For instance, if I never saw a star before but I have heard about it, I can only imagine what it would look like. The same goes for a blind person...I think. Thanks for the post!!!

I don't need to guess on this one. My husband dreamed, and he was blind from very early childhood on.

yes! blind people may have impaired vision but they still have their head.. their brain which is capable of dreaming.. imagining things that's why they are capable of dreaming.

I'm pretty sure they do. They are normal people just like anyone of us and the only difference is that we are more fortunate to be able to see. :)

When you say dream, you mean seeing something while they are sleeping... correct? There have been studies that show blind people do dream. To say they "see" the dream the way do is still up in the air. Haven't you ever "dreamed" something but not really seen what was going on? Your senses filled you in to the rest of the dream.

Ha Ha ha ha, I should say, why dont you ask the blind person. but as i look and read at all the answers, i find it interesting. My guess,is that ,they too dream. they dream what the world look like. they dream to see how do they look like, they dream to be that they are not blind. Then your question has two meaning, do they dream when they go to sleep. What can be like dreaming when you are blind, do they see the real world like what we have in our dream. Pretty good question ha! This time , i want to talk blind people to answer this question...

I believe they do. A blind person is likened to a child who has not yet seen the real world, and I have see many times infants who have REM.

Offcourse. they do.After all humans dream not by eyes but by the means of heart.blind people can do each and every thing what a normal man does. do u agree? God has given them that power by which they are able to do other thing at a better rate and of better quality than a normal man.
