Corian counter top repair

I was stripping furniture in the kirchen and accidently dripped stripper on the corian counter. Now I have an eroded area approx. 1 inch x 1 inch and about 1/8 inch deep. I am finding it impossible to get someone to come repair the counter as I live on an island and it is a simple repair and not a full scale house renovation. Is this a repair I can do myself? Can I just fill in the hole with something?
