Dream Girls

Anyone see Dream Girls? My husband and I went a few days ago. I liked it, but I was a little annoyed by the occassional break out in song. I mean, I liked the singing when it was part of the girl's show, but I didn't like it when the singing was there to replace conversations. The Broadway style songs. I didn't know it was goign to be like that at all.

By seeing the way you have described Dreamgirls, it seems you have liked the movie.
I don't like the musical type movies like Dreamgirls, I don't think I will ever watch this film ...

The singing/Broadway aspect is exactly _why_ I want to see the movie! *laugh* I haven't gotten to yet, but a friend highly recommended Dreamgirls to me and wants me to go see it. I hadn't even realized that it was like a musical until he told me, and musical theatre is one of my very very great loves in life! I'm excited to see Dreamgirls, and I hope that I get the chance to go out and see it in the theatre soon! ^_^
