Who is a better cook? Man or Woman?

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has claimed that women "can't cook to save their lives" while more men are learning what to do in the kitchen. i agree totaly with this afirmation...

I think that is a very sexist statement. There is no better or worse as you just proved by your post. Men & women both can be excellent cooks & then there are men & women who are equally crappy at cooking. Simple as that.

i agree with your point also that men are good cook. there are lots of chefs in hotel & restaurants who are male & those that we can see on TV recipes are male chefs in majority. at home woman are just domesticated to do cooking & other household chores but sometimes my husband or my brother can do cooking too but just lazy to prepare the ingredients & clean-up the mess afterwards. maybe that's the reason that male at home won't do cooking 'coz they don't like the slicing & cleaning but for those who really are gifted on cooking skills they will work on it as a career.

Since long time women usually takes care of the responsibility of house & cooking. So folks feel Women is the best cook.I too accept this.But we cant say men are not good at this.In recent days men taking part in cooking & doing their best.So i vote fifty - fity to both.

Its not generic. But considering that majority of the chefs in the hotel industry are male it must be males who are better cooks.

its not a gender thing its the creativity and skills of a person. regardless of one's gender anyone can be the best cook. But I read some article physiologically speaking man has a more sensitive taste buds. Man is more on the creative side of cooking. Females can cook but males can create and invent a more delicious dish.

Of course a man has better skills than woman. Many 5 Stars hotels have men cooks. Watch out for Sanjeev Kapoor Recipes TV Shows.

I think cooking is an art and therefore anybody can master it. Most important thing is the person should be really passionate about it.

it depends on the situation,,,,,as said by u "males dominate in hotels, resturants" & "females r queen at home". but if talkin about who is better,,,then it is unreslvable coz everyone loves the food 4m MOM HANDS also they like foods of restaurants......this topic is going in controversies,,,i guess no one can decide who is better than the best

i think that men cook better because there are a very few males who cook, and they cook because they like it! The females :P cook because they have to... so that's why man cooks better than woman! Also there are some exceptions, like allways

We always consider female as the better cook than men.It is because in our childhood, we see our mum cook daily for us, this make our bias perception on who is a better cook. However, when we grow, we see that there are many cooks are men!

It has to be a man since women take things for granted while Men always look for perfection. Please gals dont mind.

women are oviously better cook as they have been traditionally associated with it. But, when it comes to creative or innovative side of cooking males take the lead. that's the reason chefs in most 5*****'s are mele.

better cooker is a man... its depend on the skills he knows and learn. but i think a man cook deliciously than man.

I totally agree that men are better cook than women. because man have become good cook by training and it is generally not a god gift. however I just like eat if my wife cook for me. she is like my mother, can cook anything.

I do not admit men being better cooks.I think that being a good cook does not depend of gender, but it can depend of particular virtues of a person. Even if, I can admit that sometimes a man can bring a strong taste to food,even if, it does not make men better than women.
