I will answer here as well asimo. I started our son using skin care products when he was still young and although he does not use them all the time now he is an adult, at least he does take care of him skin some of the time in certain ways. For example, he knew never to go out in the sun without sunscreen and a hat because we have very harsh hot sun here in Australia. I was do concerned about skin cancer as there is a high incidence of it here in Australia. He also had moisturised and medicated face wash for his face, body lotion for his arms as well as handcream. I believed that the moisturiser and face wash helped him avoid a lot of the horrble acne that many teenagers seem to be afflicted with. He still uses that from time to time, or at least I noticed a bottle of it in his toiletry bag. Now with the job he has, he used handcream as it helped keep them supple which is good as where he works often means that he has wet hands as well as discoloured from the product they have. I have a jar of hand lotion on the table beside where he sits and often notice that he uses it. Actually I think it is just as important for me to take care of their skin, as it is for women. In both cases it doesn't have to be a lot of care, because doing just the basics can and will help.

You are a good and concern mom, prepare your son with proper skin care routine and product when they are young. It is not encourage to have too much product on our face but a basic skin care product is essential especially the sunscreen/sunblock especially in those country with summer where the temperature will go extremely high. Here for me, our weather is hot all year long but the temperature will not go as high as nearly 40 C or even over 40C yet we should not ignore the risk of getting skin cancer caused by sun exposure. My brother who resists to use skin care is now using it as he's now noticing the aging sign on his face and the uncomfortable feeling of dryness and peeling of his getting drier skin.

Yes I use skin care. I like using hand sanitizer for my hands, but for my face I use Aquatain. I use this because sometimes my face gets dry and starts to peel. After I put this lotion on, it is good for the entire day.

Is your face get dry and peeling only during winter? Cos usually younger people seldom have dry skin problem, for this dry and peeling problem ,you should use a richer cream/those hydrating serum for an intense repair for your dry and peeling skin.
