Did anyone else earn signifcantly more yesterday since the new star ratings?

I am really curious now as to if I just did something right yesterday, lol, or if the new star ratings here on Mylot really are going to affect our earnings? All I know is that the most I had ever earned before was close to $3 in one day, and yesterday I did not post close to the amount that I posted on my previous best day. Imagine how suprised I was to wake up and find that I had earned $3.78 for yesterday! My gosh! I am so excited! I am just really curious if anyone else with a high # star rating earned more yesterday, or if perhaps I just happened to do something right yesterday that I had not done hefore.. I did post a topic which was vaguely popular, but that's about the only thing different that happened! *laugh*

I am really not sure. I do know that MyLot is really buckling down on discussions.

I did notice that my earning went in then an hour later went down so Yes I think they are cutting out some discussons as a couple of my repies have dissapeared.
So no I dont think I earned more because of the new ratings

yes i made 47c yesterday but only made a small amounnt of replys
the day before i made alot of replys and made 27c

I didn't notice that mine was particularly good, but I didn't spend a lot of time here. I wouldn't think it'd make that muchdifferenct but if it does then that's a good incentive to the people who write irrelovant answers perhaps.
I'm glad you had sucha gooddad, don't think I ever earned that much!

i too was very much surprised to see my earnings.i just posted about 15 -17 responses yesterday because i dont have time to post yesterday.i thought i might have earned less.but to my surprise i got 57 cents.on an average of more than 3 cents for a response.sure the star has its value.

I didn't earn more but I didn't really do much on here yesterday(still recovering from being sick) besides read so I can't say for sure, since I didn't do much to earn any money(glad for what I didearn though). I'm going to try to do more today and hope to see an increase with the star rating. Sounds like you did pretty good yesterday, hope it continues for you.

I did. I though it was weird but i'm not complaining. Maybe I was just doing something right also. I have no idea what is going on but I like it.

I still earned about the same amount as I normally make on here since I am not able to be online that often. I do not think the star system will affect our earnings in any way as it depends on our quality posts and replies and pictures and other things.

You're lucky. Iw asn't affected that much. I think I got about the same. Did you maybe have a lot of refferrals do alot of postings?

I definitely noticed a difference in my earnings. I only made maybe 30 or so posts yesterday and I made almost 2$ - usually I only make 60 or so cents for a handful of posts. I was very surprised to see how much I'd made! And with my star rating as high as it is...
I don't think it's just a coincedence.

I guess we can say that there was a difference in the earnings. I made 15 or so post and I got .69 cents. I usually get .40 to .49 for that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see in the coming days.

I noticed a difference, I think... I don't believe I did as much posting as other days and I made .97 . But I didn't keep track of how many posts I did. I did not my number of responses just before midnight so I can see what I get for todays posts. It brought me over 10.00 so I am happy I will make payout for Feb.15th.
I'll consider it a Valentine gift from Mylot...hehehe

Wow, that's amazing! $2 for only about 30 posts.. gosh! You must have really posted some tremendous quality there! ^_^ I am also starting to wonder if Mylot cleaning up a lot of the cheaters yesterday (as I heard that they did) meant more money for all of us, since it sounds like a lot of us did make more. Hmm... interesting! ^_^

I don't have a rating yet, but i think that if the high ratings means more money and a higher payout, it's going to make mylot better. People will be more careful about how they reply and what they post so that they can receive a higher rating a better payout...
hmm a nice incentive haha... i am still yet to get a rating...

Congratulations on getting that rating now! I'm hoping, too, that higher ratings are directly related to higher earnings, but I still can't get a read on what happened yesterday, whether it was the introduction of ratings or the quality postings. It may have been both. The alert on the ratings was quite general. Oh well. I have a 9, so I'm not complaining. Especially since red is my favourite colour.

Maybe. I cannot remember how many posts I did yesterday but my earnings are better. I like the stars idea but mine is only 4 stars.

I have no clue. I haven't been on in forever. This is the first time in about 2-3 weeks since I have last been on? Man. Star ratings now, this is gonna be weird.

Yes I seem to have done very well yesterday also. I don't know how many posts I made, since I don't keep track of that. But I can see how MyLot would use this new system to encourage everyone to make worthwhile and meaningful responces and discussions. Thank you Mylot for the awesome work you are doing!

I got a slight boost in earning yesterday, but I know that I also put more work into replying to discussions then I had on previous days. I made about three times as much as I did the day before but I would say that I posted nearly double the amount that I had posted the previous day. I am trying to do a lot more work today as well to see where I end up in terms of earnings tomorrow.
I am not entirely sure that the star rating has anything to do with the amount of money we are making though. Those of us that do have the higher star ratings tend to post good quality answers and that is what led to these ratings in the first place.

I didn't notice any difference, however I'm not sure how many responses I did, as I do a different number every day, I earned less yesterday than I did for several days, but I think I used MyLot much less. Most I've earned in any one day was 91c, most days about 1/3 of that.

The first day i made 20 Cs. And today i posted around the same amount and made 1$ !!
