My cats middle name is trouble

Can you guess why? This little sweet thing looks to get into everything and anything all day long. Do you have a cat like that? She pushes things off counters, pulls the magnets off the refrig door, prances on top of the old cat, jumped into my pantry trying to open treats, and so forth. Tell me about your cat. I will rate everyone. Thank you.

That would be my Itty! She is so bad. SHe jumps on the counter in search of bread ties or anything small that she can bat around. Today she jumped from the counter (after I threatened to let her have it with the spray bottle!) and onto the couch then to the coffee stand where she took a votive candle by the wick and ran off with it. I chased her down the hall and she dropped it halfway. She will slowly approach Benta, our other cat, and she looks like she is trying to be friendly only to swat at her. I know she wants to play, but Benta gets annoyed. Forget about anything that is hanging down. She believes that it is her play toy. I have had to tuck the tassles under on the table covers. Otherwise she swats them and pulls them down. Knitting projects are so fun to do when she is around. I spend more time scolding her or chasing after her to get my yarn back. My kit's middle name should be double-trouble.

No I don't have a cat. I used to have a cat. that cat was so smart. I would go over to my friend and take his paw and tell my friend to let him out the house, or touch him with paw to let my friend know he was hungry. sounds like you have a bad a$$ cat! you should train her not to do that, or is it to late? LOL.

She isn't bad, just into everything. She spent 6 months of her life in a cage before I adopted her. She is so loving. Just nosy.

She does type on it. What about Sissy and Charlie? What do they do?

Well Charlie couldn't care less about it, but Sissy! Well she would eat it if she thought it would get rid of it so she would have more attention! She's knocked the keyboard off the desk a few times and batted the mouse around until it would fall. She doesn't like anything to take away her attention. She is a spoiled little girl!

Marco - The kitty that picked us. He is different and can be quite fun though he is a rough one.
We have Ozzie Wasabi Tsunami Dude H. and Merlin Darling Wild Kitty H. and Marco Crazy Dude H. So you can imagine the liveliness we have in our house!! lol. they are all different and yet so adorable Ozzie is my predator kitty that loves me and rules the roost. Merlin we found as a 6 week only kitten with a broken leg. He is ok now. Marco chose us when little and we were viewing the bunch trying to decide. Someone is usually always home so we can keep up with their shenanigans.

Our cat is also like that, very playful and annoying sometimes. They are more active at night and unstoppable. They sleep more in the morning.

my 2 year old male cat is so calm and i never had any problems with him even as a kitten. But my 5 month female kitten is TROUBLE! she gets into things jumps on the kitchen table (i hate that), climbs the curtains, take socks and underwear out fo the dirty laundry and drags them around the house....there is so much more i can name i just hope that after i have her spayed she will calm down a little.

I'm crazy about cats and now I have four, all females this time. Almost all cats I had were rather terrible, just one or two have been very quiet. In general, cats like to steal things, go inside drawers, cupboards, storage room, plastic bags, etc. The ones I have now last year broke 6 or 7 flower jars, because they wanted to play with the dry flowers I had in there and their nails got stuck in the doily. Now they are grow up, but they still throw things on the floor, spill food all over the place when they eat (especially one of them) and do lots of other foolish things. I think cat owners never get really cross with their pet, because they are so funny and keep you so busy all the time, that you forgive them. I could not imagine my life without cats. They are wonderful animals, very clever (though people think they are stupid). They understand everything, but they just do what they want, when they want. People who have no pets (cats or dogs) don't know what they are loosing.

You are so right. I love all animals to a fault, but cats are very special creatures. They own you. U must accept their nature as it is. Each one is unique. People say dogs are better cause they can get trained. But, my cats are so good. As a cat lover, you know that they can be trained, very clean, and super affectionate. Thank you for your response. You get best response and + rating.

My mom use to have a cat we called Fluffy.Late every night my younger sister would go to the bathroom. Fluffy would watch her, when she finished and as she headed back to her room, he would come out of hiding and chase her back to her room. She was terrified of the cat and I guess he knew it. Anyway, he and she did this every night, until she stopped making those nightly visits to the 'john'...SS

Having cats as pets dont appeal to me much coz i dont think they relate to you or understand anything...they live in thier own world and you can not stop them from killing mice and drinking milk from your house kitchen

I'm sorry, but I don't agree. My cats do not go outside, so no mice in this cat hold. They do tricks, come when I call, and are very affectionate. Thank you for your input though.

My cat - Jackson Browne
Yeah, I have a cat that when I eat he comes up to me, moves my hand away with his paw to get a closer look at what I am eating, usually he wants his own bowl of the stuff, then when he is done he will come to the couch where I am sitting and nest himself on my leg so that I am unable to move without disturbing him and at 35 pounds that is no small task.

Wow, 35 pounds. Is he big, or fat? I hope not fat. That is so dangerous for a cat. The get diabitus from being overweight. Thanks for sharing with me. + rating.

There's a cat here who just does not like me. Not the avatar cat he's an angel and totally mine. The OTHER cat is the one I call "Little Mean Machine". He hisses at me if I touch him anywhere but on the head and has been known to bite me (to the bone it felt like). Phish (that's his name) likes (or at least tolerates) EVERYBODY else, even total strangers. Weird thing is I'm getting used to it and starting to like his orneriness. I honestly don't think I'd like him any other way. He's a nice contrast to Humphrey (avatar) who sometimes chases Phish when he tries to take a swipe at me, They are night and day these two.

I have 2 cats that like to explore. They usually don't create to much havoc. It is the dog that steals the magnets off the door and expects you to chase her around the house to get them back. I am beginning to think that she is making up for the cat's lack of playfulness. I am thinking of having her changed into a cat..lol. I do give the cats treats, but they never tried to take some on their own. The three of them sometimes play tag. I can never tell which one is it.

Well it sounds like you have quite an energetic and funny cat. Our cat is older so she is slowing down. She has never done anything like your cat though...lol. She is a very calm cat and has always been good around my son..and us. She can be riled though..and then she will bite a little and fight back...her ears go back..it is quite funny. She has been known to lick your hands once in while too. She knows exactly when treat time is..and never fails to call me to give them to her when I am busy. When we first got her she growled like a dog because she lived with a couple of dogs...

Nice name for a troubling cat. There are plenty of cats at my home. Most of them are caged. They actually seem to enjoy being pampered. Also, it helps control the cat population near my home.

When one of my cats was young he was a terror. He would race around like crazy. Once he ran down the hall, up the drapes, at the other end in the livingroom, jumped off onto an end table, knocked the lamp off, and broke it, then, ran across the top of the sofa, on to the next end table, knocked that lamp off and broke it....and then he was done...and walked away like nothing had happened. A job well done!

Oh yes. We have a cat named Mezu but he's so bad my husband just calls him "devil cat". lol He's into everything. And he's a big cat too so that doesn't help either. My other cat is a quiet little thing and I think that just adds to what Mezu does. He loves catching you about half asleep and pounces on you; he also likes knocking the magnets off our refrig and wakes my husband up about 4 am every morning to let him out. I truly don't know why this cat is still alive. lmao

i have never considered keeping a pet, let alone a cat. I personally feel unless you have a house with sprawling open spaces you should not have pets. our urban apartments are a no no for bringing up pets (some would say even humans!) Anyway I got myself well informed about cats through all the responses here. Good luck to you folks!
