Does this Star Rating remind you of a Dr. Seuss Book?

Remember the Dr. Seuss Book where every body had a star or they didn't have a star. Now we have stars of different colors and different rating's. I was watching alittle tv and it just hit me and I started to laugh.

Thank you for injecting a little humor.... I think the star system reminds me of grade school when you got little sticky stars in your copybook. The way people are running around pushing the exclamation button and reporting "cheaters" reminds me of the kids that always snitched to the teacher.... I like your Dr. Seuss analogy better than mine. It really is funny to see adults grading each other with stars.

It is kind of humors. I myself now find myself giving low stars the plus sign. And no I don't go around giving high rating a minus sign. But if I see a discussion interest and they have a low rating I will give them the thumbs up. It is kind of funny made me think of the times I read and saw this cartoon on tv.

I wonder how many of us are going to go up now I have tendency to read my post and give the thumbs up or when ever I see one no matter if they are low or high.

Oh my goodness, I remember that Dr. Seuss story now! ^_^ What a lovely idea. I am very fond of Dr. Seuss and his works, including the musical "Seussical" that has been created from some of his stories about Horton the Elephant and others. I love your idea, and thank you for sharing it! ^_^

Yes I just couldn't help asking if anyone might of or now see this. I was watching tv I think I was watching The Wheel of Fortune at the time and a commercial came on. Had nothing better to do but let my mind wonder. lol I guess The Wheel of Fortune can stimulate the brain huh

hahha. That is a cute question. Yes, as a matter of fact it certainly does. I wondered why it reminded me of something, and now I know why.
