Is everyone responding with rose because thats what we've been brought up with? What about orchids, alpinias, lilies ? There must be thousands of beautiful and exotic flowers around the world, and the best we can come up with is the rose. While the rose has its merits, lest it shine so bright in the eyes of all and leave others behind, wilting in the shadows of our inability to open our eyes to unkown beauty around us? Back to the question ..the most romantic flower in the world? To me the answer is easy and dosnt include any mention of the "r" word. It is any flower, that is given to me by a person who thought enough of me to want to buy me one. That gift of thoughtfullness alone should make that flower shine brighter, smell richer and bloom longer in our admiration of the beauty before us.
