I was wondering what is some of the strange things people have sold on ebay. I regularly have a clear out and sell a lot of old stuff on ebay to get rid of it rather than throwing it out. Some of the strange things I have sold on ebay include: 1kg of mixed lego blocks an odd pair of wetsuit gloves in different sizes and different colours a used pair of flip flops (thongs) a box of selected feathers and fur (even some I brushed off my cat!) for tying flies for trout fishing! A skateboard which had to be taken apart and posted to the buyer in italy in 3 seperate parcels because of the postage costs - it cost more to post than the skateboard was worth when new but the buyer insisted he really wanted it! And many other strange things. Please note - I have never ripped anyone off on ebay, nor have I tried to. Every item is always listed at $0.99 and no reserve and is accurately described and photographed in the picture. I've had over 100 positive feedbacks and no negative ones and every one of the weird items above ended with positive feedback and happy buyers! It just shows that one man's trash is another mans treasure!

I remember seeing someone selling some numbers for an upcoming lottery draw in the UK - they had apparently been predicted by a turkish pschic whilst on holiday. Tbey were selling the numbers on a scrap piece of paper that they were written on by the pschic! It went for some ridiculous price and people actually bid on it. It made the 6 o'clock news!

We are pleased to bring you more exciting innovation from our team here at myLot! We have developed a new algorithm that now ranks a myLot user’s reputation. The myLot reputation rating takes into account various factors including discussion ratings and is based on a scale of 0 to 10 stars with 10 stars being the highest. These stars currently appear next to usernames in discussions. At this point, you may be asking yourself “What about the user rating number that appears next to everybody’s name? Isn’t that for ranking a user?”. The user rating that you are familiar with ranks the level of a user’s activity on myLot. For example, a user with a rating of 1,500 is fairly active on myLot, but the rating really tells you nothing about the quality of the user’s activity or how the user is perceived by the myLot community. The new myLot reputation algorithm ranks the quality of the user’s contributions to myLot, as perceived by the myLot community. Users with a user rating of less than 100 will not yet have myLot reputation calculated, and will therefore have no star next to their name. myLot reputation updates once per day, so most users should see their reputation appear shortly after reaching a user rating of 100. Remember, myLot reputation is determined by the myLot community, and it is cumulative for all user contributions. Therefore, myLot reputation can fluctuate even without a user participating on any given day. In addition, you shouldn’t think of a particular myLot reputation level as necessarily being “good” or “bad”. It just means that a user with a reputation of 8 is generally more highly thought of by the myLot community than a user with a reputation of 5, and so on and so forth. It doesn’t mean that 8 stars means “good user” and 5 stars means “bad user”. Both are valuable members of the myLot community. As you might have guessed, the best way to increase your reputation is by contributing quality topics, responses and comments and avoid posting low-quality content or items that violate the myLot community guidelines. We look forward to hearing your feedback on this latest new feature!

I know the strangest thing I saw on there was that stupid Jesus Cheese Sandwhich. I've sold a few Comic Books there that I posted on a whim that got a couple of bids that surprised me. They were pretty off the wall adult titles that are not widely distrubited so I guess there is a market for just about everything there. It is actually the worlds largest Garage Sale in reality...
