lost toyota avensis key

Please help, I've lost the only key I had belonging to the toytoa avensis 2002, I've heard that it would be quiet expensive to get another key from toyota dealership, the car is not locked (but is in a locked compound)i just can't move it... any suggestions...please??

Try a locksmith. Tell the dealer that you lost the key and see what they think.
People that say things like that are probably just guessing. Why don't you have a spare key for this car? If you do get one from the dealer, tell them that you want TWO SPARES and then give one to someone you trust and can get it back from, quickly.
