Whenever you finish training wether it's weight lifting or general trainning, especially if it has been a while you haven't trainned, try to take some protein right after you finish and one Omega fish oil. Protein and fish oil are one of the best things to have for muscle recovery and also growth. Fish oil will help recover your muscle joints and will make them stronger and more resistant. For protein, try to use "Whey" protein, or blend together one Red Bull with a raw egg. These will help your muscle recover faster, build faster, stronger, more resistant and will reduse muscle aches and sourness especially if you're into weight lifting. Sleeping is important as well for muscle recovery, 7-8 hours a day. Trust me that stuff works, you'll feel like a champ!

I don't recommend raw eggs. Most people do not have the enzymes to digest them. They'll just get filtered down with water and acid into your large intestines. Protein, especially whey should really be combined with 5-10g of dextrose or maltodex. simple sugars for fast absorbtion. Insulin levels are highest after a strenuous workout and should be taken advantage of with a slight surge in blood sugar levels. Red Bull may do but more expensive than dextrose. Sleeping is also subjective. It is really relaxed and deep sleep in the REM phase you need. 10 hours of nightmarish sleep is less effective than 7 hours of deep sleep and several 10 min. naps throughout the day. Other ways to recover quicker includes : contrasting hot/cold showers for several minutes each, ice massage, static stretching after workout, GPP-general preparedness work, light aerobics, deep breathing.

Thank you for you for posting your tips as well. For raw eggs, people that would like to try it could do it. They don't have if they can't. No one has to do it, just a suggestion.

True. I used to down raw eggs "Rocky" style with sugar when I started working out but had weird stomach cramps afterwards. That's just from my experience.
