When you purchase goods...

I am asking what others thing about this. When you purchase goods, do you expect them not to fall apart within a certain time frame? I recently purchased some cloth diapers which were custom made for my daughter. They arrived horribly late, and they are falling apart after one wash. Now, the time with paypal has lapsed, and as such I cannot recoup any funds legally...And no I did not pay with a credit card. So I am stuck with these diapers. The person refuses to refund, offer to make replacements and i've heard excuse after excuse as to why the replacements haven't been sent. I know life happens, but when you having paying customers you would think people would pay a bit more attention to their goods and services, don't you agree? So if you were in my shoes, wouldn't you be livid? Wouldn't you want to leave feedback on the situation? I mean what would you do?
