what do you think of the horcruxes? so far, there are two real and identified horcruxes and their are stll 5 of them unkown: Marvolo Gaunt's ring- knowned Tom Riddle's diary- knowned and my guesses abot the missing fve are the following: Salazar Slytherin's locket Helga Hfflepff's cup Nagini- the serpent somethng from Rowena Ravenclaw and Harry's scar on his forehead. yeah, i think that would bne the greatest challenge for Potter- to kill himself forthe sake of others.

i agree with owlwings... that's what i understood in the book. he has to keep the 7th part... so, he is just 1/7 human... spooky. well, i still wonder who got to the locket first?? who does those initials belong to???

up for barbour9.. i also think that way. i think its the only way to give justice to harry's heroic personality. and with that idea, it would create more impact on the readers.

Yup, 6 horcruxes, 2 found 4 left and the last one will be Harry. I think it has to be - although it will be very, very sad if that's how it ends...

I think you will find that there are six Horcruxes, each containing a seventh part of Voldemort's soul. The seventh and final part should still be in Voldemort. This page discusses it at length: http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/devices/horcruxes.html

oh! i entirely forgot that thing. im sorry for the wrong info. yeah, you were right there should be seven horcruxes and voldemort is one of them. so six to go. i think that elminates Ravenclaw's relics since there is nothing mentioned in the book, its just my wild guess.

wo man i just got shocked by your idea but that really is possible.appreciate ur imagination.one sure thing is nagini and mind u one of the horcrux is his present body himself. Also one can be the sword of griffendor in which tom would have kept the horocrux somehow when he was studying in Hogwarts .lets just hope 4 the best

I wouldn't have thought of his scar as one. I don't really think it would be one though since he was trying to kill him I don't think he'd hide a part of his soul there. And I thought it had to be hidden in an object?

maybe.. but with Voldemort's ability. it would be possible if he really wants it that way.

Actually five of them are not unknown. The third horcrux is the locket and the 4th is Hufflepuff's cup and the sixth is Nagini. The mystery horcrux may be Harry's scar or some relic that may still be in Godric Hollow when Voldemort when to kill Harry. The horcrux could also belong to Rawenclaw. According to Dumbledore he did not know any of the famous relics of Rawenclaw. The horxruxes are known but the places where they are hidden and the protections around them are the dangerous part.
