Why does evil exist?

it does apper to be getting worse but then again thats also the media trying to get you to read there stories

A lot of evil exists only because we let it. We don't want to get involved to combat it. We ignore it and hope it will go away. We don't stand up for each other like we should. Satan has existed since the beginning of time. He tempts us all the time. If we give in to him, we're contributing to the evil in the world.

Evil is part of the human nature, not of all humans but part of them. In my opinion it has nothing to do with gods.

I think evil exists in this world because man does nothing to try to rid the world of it. For example, look at the governments of the world. You've got one "superpower" playing policeman for the rest of the globe and they are perceived as evil because they are always starting conflicts in the most unstable areas of the world. They were the ones who stormed into Iraq and began a purposeless war for no other reason than to try to do what the previous man in power couldn't do. It ended up doing nothing but making this "superpower" look evil in the eyes of everyone else on the globe. I believe that evil is also a perception of how a person acts as well. If someone is always doing wrong or immoral things, he/she is looked upon as being evil. It seems mainly criminals and people who have been imprisoned for periods of time get the rights to this label. People who have to steal food and clothing to survive in this world are also looked upon as being evil. How can this be wrong when all they are trying to do is make it through another day? What would you do if you were caught in a situation where you had no other option than to steal food or clothing to stay alive? Would you do it? I find evil seems to be creeping into society more and more as time goes by. There's more violence on the streets, more people are being killed day by day and murders are even happening in small towns where they've never occurred before. I don't find much good to be existent in the world nowadays. Everyone is out for themselves and they don't care who they have to steamroll over to get what they want. We've become so consumed by our own selfish greed that we have lost out on looking at the bigger picture. Police are stretched too thin in some cities, world leaders are always looking for ways to make themselves look better, no matter how many must suffer for it and the murder statistics are always on the increase on a year to year basis. It's enough to make you completely sick to your stomach. So, in conclusion, I believe that evil is slowly making its way into our society more and more everyday. The idea that a world leader only has to take care of his own country anymore does not apply. He must now be concerned about his role in the international community and he had better not rustle the feathers of a rival world leader or we could all be faced with the greatest evil of them all.... Nuclear war. It does not help that in this day and age laws are worthless and the people who enforce them can even be just as evil as someone who's locked up. Thanks for allowing me to share. xx

i think evil exists because us as people will always have different views and ideals on how to live life...we will always feel envy, and greed and these things create a lot of evil in the world...

I think evil is defined as that which God does not will. I think it exists because God allows other wills than his own to exist.

Evil exists because good exists with out evil there wouldent be good and vise versa..
