Zodiac Signs & the stars

I have read several books about horoscopes & agree with the descriptions they list for each sign. It is kind of wierd because i can check my horoscope today and it will say something that is similar to my day. Don't misunderstand, there have been times where I read my horoscope and was like "uh, that's not right" I see many of the characteristics in myself. What do you think? Are horoscopes false?
