Finding a location for a child's birthday party in a rural area

We live in the Adirondacks of New York. Our house is just too small for 15 five year olds to be runing around in. I can't seem to find a decent and age appropriate place to have my son's birthday party.

Beautiful area to live in jcm5212! Is the party just coming up so it would be a winter one? Do you know anyone that farms? When my youngest was in pre-school, one of the class families had a hobby farm and the kids took a "field trip" there. They got to see cows, chickens, peacocks, horses, they gathered some eggs, fed pigs.... It was nothing difficult but they all had such a good time, mostly because, even though we were all rurual, not everyone farmed, of course. Maybe you could arrange to "borrow" some space for the party that way? How about horseback riding? Anywhere nearby that maybe you could take a group? The stable where I used to ride would do this by special arrangement and it didn't really matter the time of year. The kids got to "groom" the ponies and then they had a few that they would walk around so the kids could all have turns. Are you within driving distance of anything tourist-y? A museum or public library that might have some kind of kids' activities? I'd say maybe a craft shop where they could do a crafting activity but I suppose that wouldn't fly with 5 year old boys. If all else fails, how far are you from a bowling alley or movie theater? LOL Those are always good to fall back on.
