yesterday, Jan 10, three blasts hit the cities of Kidapawan, General Santos and Cotabato, located in the southern part of the Philippines. At least four were killed and a number were injured including children. Critics of the Philippine government believe that the said bombings are orchestrated to push the Anti-Terrorism Bill which was patterned to the United States' Patriot Act. Many feared that the said bill would result to massive human rights violations and the total intervention (military, political, economic) of the US to the Phils. Also, the intensification of State terrorism and Martial rule by the current Phil. government is feared. What do you think about this?

i think it's already repeating darckj, and it's worse ;( the government of Arroyo has surpassed the record of the late dictator Marcos, as well as that of Aquino, Ramos and Estrada -- in terms of human rights violations and other repressive policies.
