Your luxury item

On the tv series, "Survivor," cast members have been allowed to bring along one luxury item. It cannot be a survival item of any kind (like Swiss Army knife or matches). A guy that I actually knew through business, Jeff, was on the Australian season. His luxury item was a coloring book and crayons. People initially seemed to think that was a ridiculous choice. He had cast members color the pictures and he later auctioned off the pages to help fund a charity, so that was pretty cool. Others have taken things like a hairbrush or a journal, a flag or a bible. What would your luxury item be and why?

Could we bring a computer? lol, I can't miss anything that might happen on here!!! just kidding.... I would bring a photo album probably. I'm a picture freak and would not be able to live without seeing my babies! Interesting topic!

Do they have wireless on those islands and stuff??? LOL I'd be lost without my laptop, I swear! I'd definitely want to bring a camera and your idea of the photo album is great. It would keep you connected to home for sure!

Oh see... now that you say that I realize.. well if it can't be a person or animal (although I have 3 kids and I couldn't chose just 1, I could bring my dog!). But the photo album or camera with photos of the kids loaded on would be great. However, remember those batteries only last so long!

Toothbrush - brushing saves your teeth
It would depend on what they're really allowed to take before the luxury item. If they had absolutely NOTHING provided, like they supposedly say, it would have to be toothbrush and hopefully they count toothpaste as part of it. I cannot stand to get up in the morning without brushing my teeth. If that was something they do provide, then probably a case of diet pepsi! lol

Could they really not be allowed to even brush their teeth? That's just gross LOL I know it's "survivor" and all but yeesh! Diet pepsi.. hee hee... you'd have to bury it somewhere, like hidden treasure, to have any left after the first day, I bet.

I had always said fire but they ruled that one out. I think mine would have to be a toothpaste. There is no way I could go that long without something refreshing in my mouth, I could use a stick to brush my teeth but I would want the fresh taste.

Oh gosh, yeah! LOL considering some of the "unfortunate" things I might have to eat to "survive," I think I'd be incredibly grateful for toothpaste too! :D

I would like to bring moisturiser with me. Without moisturiser I feel very dry, it's a must for me.

Oh Yikes! This is a tough one...but when it all comes down to it, I honestly would have to say my Bible. After watching those shows, my faith would be the only thing that would keep me sane...whether that would help me stay on or not, I don't know, but I would definitely have to take that...because I don't think my favorite pillow would make it back in one piece :).

I think I would bring a picture of my daughter - it would help keep me focused when the going got tough....help me keep my eyes on the prize.
