Ok, this intrests me very much. To Muslims: Have you read the entire Qur'an? Have you read the Bible? Your views? To Christians: Have you read the entire Bible? Have you read the Qur'an? Your Views? I've read both books. I am a Muslim. The Bible isn't as boring as many make it out to be. There are things I disagree with, there are things I perceive to be in error with science, history, and contradictory to accounts found in other sections. Over all, I love how it expounds on the Qur'an. The Qur'an is meant to be the book that confirms previous scripture, but usually doesn't tell many stories in detail (As it is meant to confirm the stories, not retell them.) Let's not turn this into a debate, and let's not post verses, that always turns ugly. I'm just interested in your views on both books, and whether or not you've read either or both books. Thank you

Let me ask if you find the same types of errors in the Koran? Theological, historical, political, science, etc?

There is no error in Al Qur'an. It come from God, not from human, even prophet muhammad did not write the Al Qur'an, he clarify the meaning of al Qur'an, especially through Hadith.

That's what I thought. That to me, seems to be the basis of a lot of problems with fundamentalism today.

I love reading Al Qur'an, hearing Qur'an recitation, reading Al Qur'an translation. I never read bible because it was written by human not by god.

Hi It is a quality of every Muslim that he tells about what has been revealed on Muhammad to others. If you won't read Bible , how will you be able to inform of such a gift from God. So there is no harm in studying Bible, it would give you a first hand knowledge of the teachings of OTBible or Torah, and NTBible or the Gosples, then you would be with confidence inform your Christian friends of the good things mentioned in Quran by making a comparison if you like. Hi I have read both the Book, Bible and Quran; Quran is very short may be a hundred time shorter than the Bible. if somebody have counted the words then exactly we could know. Since both are the Revealed Books by one GodAllah, the realities in both are more or less the same. I like all the revealed Books of whatever Religion in the world.I don't like a debate which often creates tension and hatred, instead I like discussion with reasons and rationality. Thanks I am an Ahmadi - a peaceful faith in Islam, working for unity of Abrahamic Religions.
