Why do guys scratch their privates so much?

I say its because we/they are itchy.

sometimes its just a bad habit. or checking that the tools are still there :)

not really.but i guess anyonehaving hair in that area will be bound to scratch it.also it also depends on whether u are sweating and all that. and it is not only the guys i am sure that the female of the species do it too but only less public.

I think everyone itches equally, however us women folk are not as proud about scratching ourselves in front of everyone. If you think about it, we have bra issues = we need to adjust thing around, things get itchy, etc and we will do that in the bathroom or when no one is looking. I think we are just a little more shy and modest when it comes to things like that. :O)

ummm im gona say cuz they itch....

Since this portion is fully covered when u r in pants and hence it sweats and this inturn creates itching sensation..
