Who thinks this is the best Carly since the first one?

Yes, I love this Carly too. Funny thing is when she started I didn't like her at all. Now I can't even picture the old Carly. It's driving me nuts, so I will have to do soome research when I'm done here and find a picture. But anyway she does an awesome job. She makes all the right "Carly faces"...hehehe

I LOVED Tamara Braun as Carly...but Laura is great too. The two of them tie for me. I think Laura has Tamara in looks but Tamara captures the personality of Carly more to me.

I like this Carly out of all the Carly's .. I have been a General Hospital fan for years and when this new Carly came on I was very apprehensive, but now that she has shown her talent I absolutely love her and can't wait to see what she is up to next ... still can't believe she married Sonny

That is so funny because I was just thinking about that today while I was watching the show. I liked the last Carly they had-- I think it's the Brown one that you are talking about.. & I didn't think she would be replaceable until this Carly. I absolutely love her.. she fits the mold perfectly!

Oh, i love her, I had just about given up on them getting carly back to who she really is after some of the bad actress' after sara brown. To me part of what made carly so good, was her connection with jason, and you just didn't see that with some of the others

I really liked Tamara as Carly but I do love Laura Wright as her also. Laura Wright is a great actress.

I have grown to like this Carly also, but do think that Sarah Brown was really the best. Tamara Braun was good too, but wasn't there one before her or after her that did not stay long. It seemed as soon as I got used to her they switched actresses. Personally I could do without Robin and Liz.

Iloooove this Carly. Laura is a great addition to the GH cast! I can honestly say I never liked the first Carly (Sarah), (ducking, 'cause I am sure stuff will be thrown at me, lol)--just didn't get into her at all, I really liked the next Catly, Tamara---she was super and alot softer around the edges than the first one and she had alot more chemistry with Alky (Ted). The third one, Jennifer, not so much---no chemistry with Ted or Maurice (SONNY)...just not cut out to be Carly, I guess. But Laura's Carly is a wonderful combination of all of the actresses that have portrayed her. Now, for some more great Elizabeth and Carly scenes. Carly says she knows Jason better than anyone...yeah right EXCEPT Elizabeth and that's why she dislikes her and feels so threatened by her...Bring it on, TPTB!!! I am ready!

I personally liked the first one the best, i didn't care for the 2nd one at all, and this one i really didn't like her when she first took it on, but she's growing on me, and i agree she does play it well. So i said good job gh

I like this Carly also. I wasn't sure I was going too. I ddin't like her on her last soap. She makes Carly seem s tronger. i don't know if it is the acting or the writing. Maybe the writers see her strong acting skills and that influences their writing. I do miss the original Carly she was great. I tell you what else I miss is the AIDS banquet that was held at GH each year. Why don't they bring it back. Lucy was always in charge but they could write a little background story about her moving on and let Carly be in charge. Or Monica or Bobbie, they need more camera time.

I'm not very good at remembering characters real names and I'm not sure I can remember all the women who played Carly, but I did like the one that came just before this last one. And when this blonde Carly started, I didn't think there was any way I could believe she was Carly. But she did it and she is very good in the role. I can hardly imagine Carly any other way now. Kudos. I miss the Charity event each year, too. The gams on those ladies are ones I dream of having.

I agree so much! Sarah Brown made Carly, but Laura Wright is awesome. I have liked her since I first saw her on Loving many years ago. When I heard she got the role of Carly I was so excited! Finally, someone who could act and who I could like and root for instead of being ticked off.

I am not an avid GH fan but have starting watching it everyonce in a while on soapnet since Laura Wright took over the role of Carly. I loved Laura in her role as Cassie on Guiding Light. She has some spunk. I never saw Sarah Brown performance on GH except she has them emmy wins so that has to say something. I did enjoy Sarah Brown performance on As the World Turns a few years back as Julia. She was the women we loved to hate!!
