is it true that if you weren't able to marry your significant one after 7 years of being together, you most likely separate ways...

I've heard of "the 7 year itch" meaning that there is some type of hurdle after 7 years when the relationship is stale or people are tempted to be unfaithful. I married my fiancee after being together for around 9 years. We had been engaged and lived together for about 7 or 8 of those years. I don't think you can judge any relationship by these 'old wives tales'. The only things that effect a relationship are the people in it.

i think it depends on the couple... i have a cousin whose marrying his boyfriend of 10 years this coming summer... i also have two officemates, one is 7 years with her boyfriend and the other 9 years with his girlfriend, but both don't have any wedding plans yet, they are still waiting to be financially stable before tying the knot...

now let's the question with another....what made you two stay together for 7 years? just because you were not able to marry does not mean there isn't much left.....rest is solely for you to decide
