God gives his people free will. Did Jesus came to this world to make Christians? no... it is made by people. And God would not restrict them on doing it. It is shown that free will is there and is given by God to his people

God said he would gives us free will. If God does not allow it to happen. than He is not fulfilling his promise. He cannot deny himself and that is why. Its that simple though its not really simple. IF God destroy other religion than let one exist. than HE IS forching us to follow Him. that is not free will. It all revolve around this

For me why GOD allows many different religion to be exist are to make human to know each other , to get understand each other, and honour each others not claim one of the religion is better than others ,so if there is some difference we can be understand by knowing the difference. there is some word " how can we be love something or someone if we don't know it or them well" I always put the word "difference is beauty" in my brain, cause if GOD willing to make only one religion in this world GOD will be do it and absolutely simple, right ?

Religions are different even in there own groupings. I say religious are not different because of God allowing different ways to worship. I think it is because God accepts people to be different and we should as well.

Humans create religions out of their beliefs. People are different, so are their religions. All religions accept this, and preach tolerance. "God has revealed himself in many ways..." The Koran. "In my father's house there are many mansions" and "Love thy neighbor" in Christian teaching. "We are all Buddha" in Buddhism. Meaning, in all cases, acknowledge your spiritual neighbors and their beliefs.

In my opinion every religion, at its core, is the same. They all have a "God" and a "Heaven" in some form. Every religion has the same basic purpose; be a good person, go to heaven. It is in all the details, over analysis of stories, and trditions where religions become "different". People all think thier religion is the "right" one, even atheists. I don't have a religion. I can't say if there is or isn't any truth behind any religion. I just follow the basic structure of being a good person that all religions are based on. I think if everyone followed the message of their religion, rather than following ritual and getting lost in which characters are the best, the world would be a much different and better place. Thats just my opinion.

In our holy book, it is already written that there is no other religion except islam - islam is the religion who fulfil's all you'r needs, all I can guide you according to my holy book is its not GOD who allows diffrent religions, its us the humans who think like GOD allows to make diffrent religion.

God allow you to think whatever you want. Religions were created by humans, not by God. God make miracles just to let us know where there is the TRUTH about Himself. Search the miracles and you will understand which one is the true religion.

I think that all the religions are different paths to one truth, I think that God allows all of them, since each one of us needs a different path to God, so we can have a lot of them to chose from.

how come ? how do you know that all of the religions are directing to one truth ? how do you know that we need different path to God ? ... hope you don't mind with my questions, it's not an offense, but that's a critical thought that comes to my mind ... thx

Because not all people have the same mind or the same way of thinking, so every religion is talking to a group of people to make them know him and that is the final result from Religions as a whole to know that God exists, to love, fear and pray him.

It is diversity problem. LIke the park need diffrent flower and diffrent plant, the world need diffrent voice, it will so boring if the world just have one voice. The beautiful world and the complex society make we feel curious and amazing for it. I like diffrent people, diffrent country, diffrent religion, and so on, it make the world beautiful

Since we can not speak for God, it will be impossible to give a conclusive and definitive answer to the question you posted. We are not in the position to say God allowed many religions to exist because.........So answers to this discussion is open ended. The best we can do is to express our observations and personal opinions. Answers will always raise more questions. Religion is an expression of man's desire to be reunited with his creator, the Divine one. He is aware of his own existence and of the power above him, up there or out there. So it depends on which part of the world you come from, people express their belief in the divine in different ways. A profound study of the history and development of religions all over the world and coupled with the study in Comparative Religions will be a rewarding endeavor. There is no such thing as divine intervention when it comes to man's decision in matters of faith and morals. Man is a free moral agent, and can decide for himself. God will not make decisions for us. Otherwise there will be no more questions to ask ourselves. Time will come, when we will fully understand.

His creations speak in themselves and we can speak out our appreciation of the beauty of God's creations. God revealed Himself in many and different ways. In nature, we call it natural revelation and yet man reacts and responds in different ways. Some don't even appreciate the beauty of nature. There is also what we call special revelation, He revealed himself in the words of the Scriptures, yet people differs in their interpretation. God revealed himself in us as personal beings, He gave us this longing to understand the Divine. Man will always be in the continuous searh to understand God. Deep in the innermost part of man is a vacuum that no one can fill except the Creator Himself. May God bless you in your search for meaning and explanation. Seek and you will find. God will reward those who deligently seek Him.

very critical and intelectual answer ... thanks manong ... you think that we can't speak for God. and i think sometimes God used His creation to reveal His way ... As His creation, we have our own point of view handling that question, and im interested to see that many point of view from people around the world (here in mylot)

yes, your answer sounds very monotheistic, but did you know that there are also polytheism, animism, dynamism, etc in faith (religion) ? ...

because we have free will therefore other religion exists depending on what people believe in. If God only allows one religion to exists, then we would be like robots, that are controlled by Him and only allowed to choose His religion. Afterall, even with different religion names, we all worship the same GOD, although with different name.
