You can make your own knitting needles. - Hat knitted on double pointed needles that I made from dowels.

They are double pointed needles I made out of wooden dowels. I'm trying to post a photo but w/ the new mylot rules I'm not sure I can. If the photo shows up, it's a hat I knitted for an online friend while on the train. She picked the colors. I mailed it to her and she loved having it.

I think you need to be at 500 before they allow you to post photos in discussions now but go ahead and post it to your profile we can still go there and see it.
