Who's your favorite Sesame Street Character?

A popular children's show that premiered, could you imagine, November 1969! But it became more popular during the 80's, because of it's educational and informative type of teaching the children. Some of my favorites are Guy Smiley, Elmo and The Count. Do you still remember your favorite sesame street puppets?

Yes... i still remember coz that's also my favorite puppet shows, i love all the cast specially big bird;)

Right. All they get to watch are "tagalized" anime shows and koreanovelas. Worse, if the 2 big local networks put on some English shows, sometimes they dub it!

I love bert and ernie. They are the only reason i would watch the show as a kid. I still get a kick out of them now.

Elmo! The cute and sweet red monster.. How could anyone regret him?!;) I like the way he sings, and as I remember he had a show out of sesame street.. Right?

earnie and bernie are great but my favourite character is Big bird. i dont really know why but he has someting that makes laught a lot. big bird its my favourite

I liked snuffaluphagas the best. I kind of liked bert and ernie, they were pretty funny sometimes. My uncles screen name is GuySmiley. My half brother decided he was Oscar the Grouch when he was 4. They took him to a doctor about it after about 6mos. He was really bad. One day he missed watching the trash man pick up the weekly trash. He threw such a tantum he split his head open and had to have 6 stitches. Oh those were the days...lol

What a great story you have. I do try to copy some of their voices whom I love, like kermit's, grover and ernie. My friends always have a good laugh everytime I do this!;)

I liked Big Bird, Bert & Ernie. You never seem to see Guy Smiley around anymore. I found some old ABC books they put out back in the 70's and love the stories!

They have the most awards in terms of educational programming during their times. They are already an institution and I think that sesame street should continue, if not, should make a re-run for the benifit of the new generation!;)

Seasame Street is evil. It used to scare the crap out of me when i was a kid. i always found it very wierd and creepy. icky. that and mr rogers too!
