How big is your garden?

I used to have a 50 X 50 foot garden and used it all. Now all I have is two raised beds about 2 X 12 feet and a little corner about 4 X 4 feet. When I had the large garden, I grew almost enough to feed a family of 5, then 4, all year around. I did a lot of canning, dehydrating and freezing and I loved it. Now I barely grow enough to keep myself in fresh vegetables and certainly not a big variety of that. How big of an area do you use for a garden?

It was about 100 feet long and about 50 ft wide at the widest part. We seem to make it a bit larger every couple of years. We also can, dehyrdrate and freeze what we are able. We are making raised bed yearly and hope to make it totally so eventually. Our first beds do not have to be rototilled since we have been adding compost. A hand turning and straightening before planting. Rotational planting is easy to in this beds. Can't hardly wait to get back out there this year. I wish you much luck and prosperity for your harvest!!
