The Yard Sale Itch

I am not looking for anything to buy. You can always check second hand places. I know that yard sale can give us a great deal. One person garbage is one person treasure. I get so many goods from yard sale, but I have also so many that I want to sale or trade.:)

you are right!! i am so sick of winter. I love going garage saling. You can really find some good things! a site called craigslist.com is a great place to find used items.

i look in the paper to find indoor sales in the winter.but i dont find to many.so i end up going to indoors flea markets.

Im in UK so we have car boot sales over here smiles. Yes I miss them in the winter, they do have a few indoor ones but its not the same as walking around in the sunshine. I'm disabled and i love to wander around them, I can walk at my own pace, no hurrying if i need a rest i can just stop and look at a stall, its good exercise for me. as well as i usually manage to find a good bargain or two!

Oh yeah. I miss yard sales in the winter too. I abslolutely love kicking around yard sales and garage sales. I love thrift stores too! When we are traveling, my husband and kids think it is funny to try and distract my attention from the road if they see one nearby!

I love yard saling.. my dad and I hit the streets every saturday morning. Now, since it's winter, we hit up moving sales and such.. most of those are indoors. Also, the churches usually have garage sales every couple of months, and in the winter, they're indoors.

Not really withdrawls, no. But I did used to love going to yard sales and such when I was younger. Just the idea of being able to buy anything that cheaply was so fascinating to me! Plus, it's fun to see what kinds of junk other people collect! *laugh* I think that Goodwill stores and other Thrift stores are really fun, too! Maybe you could go to some places like that during the winter? ^_^
