For me its ASKAL its a common local dog in our country. Why? Well you don't need but it an expensive food or groom it, you can just give it a leftover of what you've eaten and still it will love you and protect you and your family whenever feel threatens. That is our ASKAL here in Philippines.

That's awesome! I believe that in the USA that is how we used to feed our dogs, as well...we just gave them leftovers. The dogs actually had jobs back there too, protecting farms and what have you. I'll have to look up that breed.

I feel that it is how you treat the animal is how it will act. Now that I got that out of the way, I think that the most loyal "breed" would be a good old fashioned mutt! Mutts tend to live longer, and are not as neurotic as a purebred dog. Also, I believe that any type of lab-mix would be the most loyal. That is how it has been for me, anyway.
