Feathery Harbinger (or was it just an odd coincidence?)

Last year i was in london for a month to sit for an exam that would qualify me to get a license to practice in the U.K. ,anyway i travelled there a whole month ahead of the exam schedule to get a chance to prepare better for the exam . Sadly i spent most of the time "not awake" Anyway ,although i knew of the special significance of the raven in london , and expected to se a lot of them because i heard it was against the law to kill them because King Arthur would return one day.......the point is i never saw a single one of these ominous birds for the duration of my stay .........UNTIL ! The day just before the exam , i was sitting in the kitchen enjoying lunch and trying to study ,when i heard this LOUD, SPOOKY SOUND , it sounded almost human ,and i was startled , i jumped up and looked outside the window....and there it was ! an ugly ,jet-black bird the size of a chicken ,just outside my window. I almost imediately felt a sense of doom , but i dismissed thoughts about bad omens because i had an exam the following day , fo which i had spentabout 6000 dollars in order to come to london and enter it ,and it was very important to me to pass the exam . I FAILED !
