Yep my father has decided to try and quit smoking for the millionth time and this is the farthest he has gone! :)
He has been a smoker for about 30 years now and he is doing this cold turkey :)
We are all so proud of him! :) Although we now have a nice hole in the wall :/

wow good for your father doinf it cold turkey especially!! ive tried quitting smoking a few times now even with nicotine patches and i haven't been succesful! im going to try again shortly and i really want to kick the smoking habit in quickly before i end up like an old person when really im only 19, LOL! :O)

Good for your Dad. My mum went through the same thing when she decided to quit years ago. It was very rough for her at the start, but a fter a month or so, it got easier and she was able to quit for good.

i will say i am 18 i have been smoking for 3 year but last november i just thought i did not whant to do it no more i went to chemist and got myself some gum, and i think that it is great of him it is so hard to do but i have not had one for nearly 2 month now when the crave goes after about a month it makes it so much easyer you should be proud of him.
