I'm making potato soup. Cubed new potatoes are boiling, then in a while I'll saute onion and garlic in a pot, add the drained potatoes with some chicken stock, evaporated milk and butter, simmer for a while and then puree a couple of cups and add it back in to give it a creamy texture, then top with bacon bits and cheddar cheese and serve with french bread and a bag of salad.

chicken & corn soup. just boil chicken meat , cream of corn or kernels , onions, ginger , parsley , cubed carrots in water with little evap mil & dash of flour , salt & pepper. add 1 beaten egg then stir to cook awhile. add a drop of sesame oil & serve hot with french bread. makes you feel great & ease the cold of winter season....

Something you can toss in the oven in one dish. You don't have to watch it and there is that many dishes after dinner. Chicken potatoes and onions.

The best bet would be a sandwich. Put some bread in the toaster, then after its toaseted arrange a slice of cheese, cut tomato wedges, cucumber, and turkey deli meat[or any kind of deli meat] speinkle some salt and pepper. Put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds till the cheese melts...You've got a good sandwich in 5 minutes.
