Do You Collect~?

Do you collect anything? ..Like old/foreign coins, figurines, sports items, novelties, cards, old books, stamps, etc~?
Or do you have a very unique collection?
I collect Dragons ..porcelain, glass, red alabaster, wood, ceramic, brass, marble..And I prefer celtic or ancient Chinese rather than fantasy ones~

Hi! I started collecting music boxes years ago. I have about 6 -10 really nice ones. They are pretty expensive, though, so I gave it up! And my little daughter isn't the best person to take into a music box store, if you know what I mean! LOL

Yes..I have 2 small children, i know exactly what you mean!
Music boxes is a neat collection..I had one as a small child, white, with the little 'ballerina' in pink who danced around to the wind-up music crank in the back of the box..

-Have you tried looking on eBay? Or even in some little antique shop? Sometimes, you can tell the owner of an antique shop what it is you are looking for -if they don't have what you want- and the next time the owner goes to an auction to buy more antiques for his/her store, they can look for one for you..

I do collect movies on dvd and have a pretty big collection. I also collect coffee mugs as I have a whole cabinet full of them. Another item that I collect are keychains. I have a ton of keychains as well. Since I am a Eagles fan, I do collect a lot of their merchandise.

I began collecting Disney pins a few years ago and have had a lot of fun with it. It's not serious collecting but I add to the collection with pin trading every time that we visit, which is about 2-3 times each year. My kids are into it too, so our collecting has become a family affair.

I used to collect glasses - decorated glassware and crystal glasses. Got to be too big a hassle to keep from breaking one so I switched to collecting shot glasses.
My parents (before the retired) used to take long vacations to different parts of the US - I have some from the different states they visited (about 30 of those) - as well as some specific ones - have one from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the "Spruce Goose" (Howard Hughes plane) from CA.
Lately I have been collecting Native American porcelian plates as well as plates with cougars on them. Have one by my computer that is of the cutest cougar cub *grins*

I had a small collection of crystal items started, but i havnt added anything to it the past few years. With 2 small boys, the crystal vases and clock, even a crystal basket -Just too breakable to add anymore right now since i don't have the space..
TY All for your responses so far..It's neat to read about different collections ppl have. I think it says alot about someone, too~
