Can you have too many friends on MyLot?

I suppose it depends on the reason as to why you want friends. I have 83 friends and I never say 'no' to a friend request. As I do not post many topics for discussion I try to respond to my friends discussions according as I get emails re same. This saves having to sift through the endless pages of nonsensical discussions which are frequently posted on MyLot. So for me, it is 'the more the merrier.

Since October, I've only just checked now I've managed to amass 97 friends no less! I love making friends on Mylot, especially from all around the world. But a good proportion of them do not write regularly on Mylot, but there are a good circle of friends I have on here that I do set up alerts on, so as soon as they post I can reply. I may have 97 but only a few are on alerts.

Well you already know, I am finding out you can. Trying to reply to all of my freinds everyday, can get to be a bit more time consuming than I had planned. 36 sounds like a nice number.

Blimey ukchriss .. 36 wow .. I can only just keep up with my 10 friends .. how do you manage it all .. I wish I could concentrate better, then maybe I would be able to get my head round having more friends ... I try and respond to at least one or more of each of my friends topics daily .. then I check the 'new' discussion section and reply to one or two of those .. then the 'hot' topics .. then check my own discussions and rate those worth rating etc. Giggles, I am sure I wouldn't cope with any more friends right now ..

I have 42 friends now I though I will keep it at 35 but I get two or three requests every day, I can't understand why they choose me, in most cases I never posted to their discussion or they posted at mine.. I refuse some but others seems to be good people by checking their profiles and I would feel bad refusing them, I guess i will just keep reviewing my list every now and then and delete some if I'm not satisfied with their attitude or if they post many discussions away from my interests. Now i will try to keep it under 50.

I have been getting more and more friends. I just do the best that I can. I try to stay on top of it and reply to y'all, but it is getting really hard. Especially if I am off line a day. I delete some, when they are not active with me.

I have less than 50 friends, so it's not hard to follow to their discussions.. some of them aren't logged here for a long time...
