schnauzer vs great dane

Okay, what is your preference?Personally I love miniature schnauzer dogs I had one for 17 years and she was a great pet I really was lost when she died... she went blind and had a mini stroke But she was great company and NEVER shed She loved to be pampered but also loved her alone time
What more can you ask for?

Different breeds as you know have different tempermants they also have different needs .What one person is looking for in a dog might be totaly different then another .For example minature scnaauzers although great dogs and don't shed as you said they do require to be brushed and groomed alot or they matt they can also be on the stuborn side all teriors can . Although they fit your personaly and you liked thier look also I bet other person might perfer the more laid back quite and size of the great dane .I have both a very small breed and a lerger one I love both of them for different reasons .The best dog is the dog that fits your life style and you find pleasing .

I agree. I can see where each dog fits a person's personality If one is controlled and overpowered in life, a small dog would accommodate them in that thet can control the dog and not be controlled by a much larger dog
I think if I got a larger dog, it would be a collie Thanks for your imput

I would say both. They are both very neat and wonderful dogs, both are alot of work. Both would make good and fun pets... - DNatureofDTrain
