The number next to my name means......

So I thought it was the number of posts I have BUT sometimes I post and it doesn't get counted. Why is that? What am I doing wrong? I am terribly distraught....just kidding not really. BUT I do wonder what the number is if it isn't the number of posts and if it is then why isn't it counting all of them?? Any ideas? Anyone?

It is my understanding that the number only changes when you respond to a post. It does not change when you post a new discussion and it does not change when you comment on someone's response. But that does not mean you don't get paid for your discussions. If you get a lot of people responding to discussions you start, you will earn more. Good luck.
