Helll yeah, i was 14 and went on an overnight fishing camp with my friends family, found a giant black scorpion and thought it was kool to tie it up with a string and play around. he waited for his time and got me around evening when it was getting dark!! boy i can't tell you how much that hurt, we were in the middle of nowhere and had to close up the camp and head to the nearest hospital. my fist turned purple and i couldent stop the pain. it felt like someone put a ball of fire in my fist and tied it up. I survived that and till this day never fool around with dangerous animals. Tell us about your painful times, could be physical or psycological pain.

I would have to say that the most painful moment in my life was when our boy was about 5 months old and my wife called me at work and told me I needed to leave work. At that point in time we didnt know wether or not our son had cardiomyopothy or myocarditis. Neither one sounded good. I rushed home and my brother n law drove me to springfield that was where my boy was they had admitted him in there after an appointment with the pediatric cardiologist. (It was only suppose to be an appointment to make sure nothing else was going on. I figured he would need breathing treatments) Boy was I shocked. When i arrived at springfield I was able to see him before they life flighted him to the childrens hospital in st louis. It was at that point seeing him white as a ghost lines and wires coming out of him every where lying ther lifeless that was my most painful moment ever. My wifes as well. We had a 4 hour drive to St Louis not knowing when we got there if our son would be alive or not. I do believe that was the longest and hardest drive in my entire life. Thank the Lord above that what he had was myocarditis and not the other. He was in the children hospital for a week and got sent home on heart medicines. I am happy to say that he is off all medicines and doing awesome. The cardiologist still follows him but he is happy healthy boy.

Thank you very much. I dont know why I said 5 months he was 3 months. Truth is the first year of Will's life was very hard on our whole family. He was born at 27 weeks and spent 2 months in the NICU in Joplin. We were only a month home when he was admitted to Childrens.

I think the most painful thing in my life was watching my Mom struggle with cancer for 12 years. It seemed like people often forgot the type of effect her condition had on me and I had no one to really talk to about it. Seeing her hurt like that was really painful.

puma, I am sorry. And you are right, for a good mother the most painfull thing can be only to lose her child.

When i was 13 I ran to the basketball court... When running i lost balance and tripped... When tripping I fell and got thrown away... When being thrown i landed on my belly and slided... When i Slided my elbow kept getting scraped and scraped.. And so did the injury it got deeper and deeper... I stopped and my knee was also bleeding... Although it may not have been bad enough to get stitches it took 6 months to heal. And when i got hurt it bled for 4 hours straight... I still have the scar ...

This is not actually pain but yea.. this is the most scary moment in my life. I was swimming at the sea and I did not realise that I have left the safe area and I cannot swim back. I was about to give up as I was too tired but then a man with surfing board helped me. Thank GOD

the most physical pain i had was 2 years ago now. when i was 20 n my lung collapsed. but that didnt even hurt. but when it wouldnt "re-inflate" i had to have surgery. they stapled my lung to the chest wall. and AFTER surgery. the morning after and the next couple of weeks after that was the MOST painful thing ever!!! i had one large incision on my back n 2 small cuts on my side. n they were stapled up (like stitches) but omg it felt like a dinosaur bit the side of my body n didnt finish me off. it felt soooo horrible :-( and i had the worst emotional pain when the girl i loved decided to avoid me n end our romantic relationship without notice. she became distant and cold and didnt tell me why for a long time. every second w/o her was the most terrible thing i ever felt. i cried every single night. n it was one of those silent cries that one no could hear so that made it hurt inside phycially even more. what made it worst was that she didnt tell me anything was wrong but i could feel it. butttttt now everythings better :-)

I must say that you must respect nature and stop playing with wild animals, because you will have some nasty moments. My most painfull moment of my life was when i broke my left arm the third time and i had to have some titanium rods in my bones.

i love nature and respect it. i was a kid then and had never seen a scorpion before !! but i bet it couldent have been more painful than the rods you got.

surprising thats my sign, i'm a scorpio. well my painful experience was when i was about 8 maybe nine years old and i was at the playground with my cousin and we were having a contest who could flip off the monkey bars and land on their feet the best. so while we were doing it over and over just competing with each other, as i got on to do the last flip off, i slip off the bar and flew backwards, turning but not landing on my feets. instead i landed on my arm and it popped out of place and broke. i was screaming so loud and one of my cousins had to carry me back to our grandmother's house where my mom saw my arm and looked at me like boy u are so damn crazy. now look what u done got urself into and she took me to the hospital where they had to pop my arm back in place and put a cast around my arm for the next four months. it sucked so much cuz my arm started itchin after a month and it was horrible. i couldn't do much with my left arm but it sure got me out of a lot of homework lol.... thats my painful experience.

my most painful moment when my foot was in cast because of surgery and my daughter's hair caught fire,I still shiver thinking about it .She was 2 years old and so brave she didn't cry till after , but when it happened she was trying to turn her hair off fire with the back of her hand,my friend had turned the candle on to lighten my mood up,but the babies got to it first OH ,I think I walked on my foot that day and broke it,had to replace the cast , her burns were minor but the picture burns my heart till that day , but her bravery was and still is remarkable.Nothing aches a mother's heart more than her kittens
