boy trouble

I've been dating this guy for a while now and we're so close but he always does things to hurt me soooo badly. For example, he promised me that he'd be there for me after my surgury because i needed him to take care of me, but instead he abandoned me and moved back in with his ex. I know how much of a fool i am for ALWAYS taking him back, but i just can't help it. I know that i can't trully love him because he hurts me so badly, but why is it just so hard to leave him?

i know! i sometimes just want to smack my head off the wall for being so prideless...but it's just so hard to let go

It sounds like a low self-esteem problem for you.While it is hard to find someone out there who loves you and will be there for you,it is very important to realize when a relationship has little/no chance for growth,accept it as a learning lesson, and move on.The pain now will hurt less than the hurt later.
