Why do some people worship the devil?

Ive heard there are some people who dont believe in God and thus called atheist. But ive also heard there are people who worship the devil? Why worship the devil, isnt it a bit odd that they like hardships to befall upon them and they will go into hell if they die?

is there is a positive source and there will be a negative force also. so for every action there will be equal and opposite reaction

Well it points out that God exist because there is a devil? And good wouldnt be distinguished as good if there is no evil. So why worship the devil?

i just finished posting a response on god and free will. i think this applies to this as well. we have free will. we can choose who we worship. the devil is excellent in deceiving people. so some people choose to worship the devil because they are deceived that they are doing the right thing.

From what i heard they donot hold a belief in God or the devil.They dont hate God because they dont believe in GOD.They say they dont worship the devil either.They hardly believe in anything supernatural.Myself is christain and I believe in God and know their is a God and there is no way I will worship the devil.So I dont know why somebody would worhip the devil.

Worshipping the devil is another form of religion.I would presume they believe in their "God" as others believe in which ever religion they believe.
There are so many different religions out there that have good points and bad points.Some people get so upset after reading/hearing about how so many religions preach one thing but do another or doing illegal things in the name of the church that they will strike back at these "organizations" by any method that seems right to them.
Is the a Christ and an anti-Christ?Is it balanced?

worshipping the devil is not right thing to do... People worship devils because there are teachings about the good devil. Me..i cannot worship the devil, i know that there is god..

The devil is said to be the master of deception. Thus, he deceives people in order to gain their worship. Some people don't make wise choices, some just follow a crowd, some don't bother to educate themselves before jumping into something. Thus, they place themselves right into his clutches.
