New Vs. Used Cars?...

Do you believe in buying cars New -or- would you rather buy them Used? Me personally, I believe in buying used cars because they already depreciate up to 30% as soon as you drive them off the lot! Now how's that for a plunge in value?.. What's your opinion?

The newest vehicle I ever bought turned out to be the worst that I ever bought. In 1967 I bought a 1965 El Camino. Within 6 months the back window had rusted out, the windshield had rusted out, and the bed had also rusted out. I started buying older cars after that. I see no good reason to eat the depreciation from owning a new car. Let someone else do it. The newest car we have right now is a 1991, the others are 1985 and 1989. I plan on keeping all of them forever.
