As a Canadian I have to laugh when I hear such silly ideas such as our homes running off of our pet penguins, whom which we force to run on a gigantic hamster wheel 24/7. Still, for the last three years that I've almost religiously used the internet, I continue to find Americans and people of other nationalities asking me the same question no matter what age they are: "Do you live in an Igloo?". Why do such silly stories exist? Honestly, it has been many a year since a whole community of people lived in Igloos, and I'm sure it has never happened that anyone lived in a snow igloo, and watched their penguin as it ran laps on spot. It may sound incredibly stupid to some of you, but I have honestly tested Americans mainly because they come to me with these questions the most. I've gone along with it and said "Oh yes, I live in an Igloo. It needs to be rebuilt soon though, my ceiling is falling" or some stupid comment like that, and I've convinced them of it. Are some people (not just Americans) really able to comprehend the internet, but not something like Canadian living habits? It really worries me that anyone could be so dense. Oh! and please do share what you've heard about Canadians =P
