On Gay and Lesbian Marriages

I strongly oppose gay & lesbian marriages in the senses that it is not ethical and moral way to do so. I am bothered that there are some countries that permits gay and lesbian marriages. It would only promote immorality and further degeneration of society. I am not an anti-Gay or anti-Lesbian per se. I just dont like the immoral acts that they do. I admire gays & lesbians that inspite of their preference, they firmly stick to what is moral & ethical. Do you think gay & lesbian marriages shold be permitted?

Please, What weakens society is attitudes like yours. What two people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is their business. Fortunately Gays and Lesbians can formalise their relationships in my country & as a mariage celebrant I would be quite happy to perform such a celebration. kiwimac

I've always said it's the people with attitudes like yours that are wrong with the world. I'm not saying you're a bad person but mo one is perfect and so what gives us the right to decide to judge others because they're different from us in some way?

Yes, I believe they should be permitted! Why should anyone be forced to marry someone they don't love? So that they can be miserable that they could be with the one they truly love, but instead are miserable and self-loathing? PLUS, there have been so many topics about gay marriage, and homosexuality as of late. Why don't you just search for a gay marriage post and post it there. Think of something else that hasn't been repeated a million times the past couple of days.

Let them do what they want to do,Its their freedom, its normal now to see the same gender attract to each other,As long they can handle this kind of relationship.

I would have to say yes. I believe if they love each other and want to make that commitment they should be able to. It would not both me at all.
