Not in the Mood...

I had a busy day today, and things were hectic, so I hadn't had a chance to spend as much time on myLot as I would've liked. So, I looked at my discussions, to see if anyone responded, if they bashed or supported what I had to say, or if there was any sign of life on my page at all. But, I guess no one is in the mood to read or respond to what I have to say (or at least VERY little people are), so it looked like I would not have a lot of work to do on my own page. After finishing that, I decided to roam for a few good discussions to respond to, before I ended my day. But, roam as I did, I noticed there were really mainly the same discussions circulating for the last few days ( and I have responded to several of them already), and there were the discussions that had nothing to do with me or my life, so I had nothing to add to those. And there were the few that were irrelevant to pretty much all of society, so I avoided those. And last, there were some that I probably would have been able to respond to if I were in the mood, but I am not, so they will just have to spend sometime in the back of my mind until I am in the right mood, to give a legible and hopefully, intelligent response. Just thought you should know (and yes, I am afflicted with the need to always explain myself. But no, I am not in the mood to get into why THAT is)...

Yup, that was me too. And reading your response vividly reminds me of exactly what I was going through. I hope to get out of this "bog" I found myself in soon, because it is hindering my responses too.

I can understand those feelings. I sometimes lack energy to respond to this type of site. There will be days when things just roll right along and there is too much to do. Other times, you have to search for things to spark your interest.
Not to be overly indulgent, but you do write very well in my opinion. You might make a great writer. I feel your writing is really clear and readable. Not only syntax wise, but in thought to thought relationship too.

Well, thank you very much. I have had numerous (English) professors tell me throughout the years that I was too arrogant in my writing, and so I decided it was too much trouble to minor in English. (Sticking with business and economics).
Yes, I will probably not be able to get on this week, because of all the stuff I have going on, but, hopefully by then I will feel more inerested, and capable of sparking everyone else's interests also.

I'm in that same mood myself. I'm extremely sleepy and tired. I don't have much to say, but I feel like I need to say something to respond to people's discussions and posts. And also to make some extra money :) But hopefully after I have my coffee I'll be more awake. And maybe an egg or two.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I feel like I just want to sit in front of my computer and post up discussions and write. Being on here for so long might give you a headache and frustrate you. When you're frustrated like that you won't be able to focus and think clearly, so it's ok you couldn't spend as much time as you wanted to that one day. It gave you a break that you might have needed.
