Nicotine patches are more popular. Specially in the US.
But I think there are some fatal risks in not using these products right.

If one cant stop smoking atleast use filter tipped ciggarettes.
Hookah is a better alternative to smoking coz carbon particles arent inhaled...it is much safer as compared to ciggarette..

For the time being he can have chewing gums, but we must not addicted to that also.
