Death of my 15 year old daughter on an ATV

Chelsea was the passanger on the back of an off road bike, the driver was going full throttle on the wrong side of the street when she was struck and killed. The driver was 17 and in constant trouble, he offered to bring her home, only three blocks. Once on the bike he took off extremely fast on the wrong side of a divided street, opposite the direction of our home. The family of the boy asked for funera donations and then immediately took off for a vacation in DisneyLand

I can't begin to imagine the strength you've had to summon to deal with such a loss. We always expect our children to outlive us. It's always so much more tragic when it's a young person with their entire life in front of them. Am I reading it right that the boy was killed, too?
