Please suggest camera upgrade

Presently I am using Nikon D70 ... and wish to upgrade my camera ... What do u suggest a low price better alternative ... I dont wish to spend a fortune on buying a very expensive camera ... or do you suggest I wait for some more time before good cameras become less expensive and continue using features of good old D70.

I don't think you'll find something better than the D70 for a low price (unless low price to you means between one and two thousand dollars.
I'm currently looking into the D80. I really wanted the D200 at first, but my hands just aren't big enough. :(
