What for we use the proverb AS SURE AS THE SUN WILL RISE TOMORROW?

I think it is kinda saying that no matter how hard times are that there is always anouther day and things will get better. It shows that life does go on and look to what lise ahead dont dwell on problems.

My family employed a vehicle driver who used to run our truck. On somedays he reports to duty a bit late. But my husband has so much confidence in him, saying that he will come and it is as sure as sun will rise tomorrow.

i think it's when we want to emphasis that whatever that happens today, the sun will still rise tommorrow...it's not the end of the world yet. i think it's good to use this proverb for those that are very heart broken and thinking that it's the end of their life...
