Amy Lee -- Epilepsy

Just wanted to send a shout out to Amy Lee (lead singer of Evanecence) in her support of Epilepsy. Apparently she has a brother who has it and knows first hand what it can be like. With more people like you out there, Amy, we will find a cure!

Gosh, I thought she had it X_X" Epilepsy sure is a scary desiese.. I really hope that someday they will find a cure for that..

I have heard conflicting reports. One is that she herself has it and the other is that her brother has it. At first I thought it was her that had it, but the more I read (in 'Neurology Now' magazine and in other publications like the web site below), the more I am convinced it is her brother. "Amy Lee of the band Evanescence has a younger brother with Epilepsy --apparently he's had three surgeries for it-- and she has agreed to be this year's EFA spokesperson. Her band is behind her on this as well.
