Guys are you in favour of studying abroad and settling there, while you know that your parents are craving to spend time with you..Is it that easy to forget your responsibilities towards your parents for the sake of earning in dollars???

I am reading for my Phd degree in my own county, but I do have some friends who are studying abroad. I think most of them would like to find a job and settling there after graduation. I don't know their ideas on how to take care of their parents when their parents become old. But in my opinion, I would not stay abroad, or if I do,I would try to make my parents go to live with me. but it is not a easy issue for oldman to go to another coutry where they are absolutely unfamilliar, even can't speak the language of that county. so if I go to another country for study or research in the future,I would not settle there. I would come back to live with my parents when they need somebody to take care of them.

thats the right thing to take parents there once you settle there....but in most of the cases ..parents dont agree to leave their native land....i htink now india has enough opportunities to explore different fields....also once anyone goes to study dere..its difficult to get back to india because of work pressure...from my opinion i wud remain structly against it...

I am not totally against the idea of studying abroad....but I feel when we go abroad we tend to lose our moral values...not everyone can hold onto their values taught at home and i feel this could bring abt a total change in the character. If ur going to study abroad and plan to return to india for work and u r firm in that then studying abroad might not be a bad idea after all
